Since 2022, I have had the privilege of contributing my design skills to Hobbs Rehabilitation, a neurological rehabilitation company in the South of England, which has a team of over 100 therapists across various locations. Throughout my time here, I have not only created a vast amount of impactful designs but also established essential frameworks that have positively impacted the entire company.

branding

Upon joining Hobbs Rehabilitation, I recognised the need for brand guidelines and a unified identity. Utilising existing materials, I created company guidelines with defined house fonts and colours, ensuring consistency throughout. Notably, I also designed welcome packs for clients, designed to provide essential information, guidance and a warm introduction to Hobbs Rehabilitiation services and reflecting the new brand identity.

digital

At Hobbs Rehabilitation, I’ve led the creation of their website, handling both UX and UI design, using WordPress and Elementor. This involved seamlessly blending strategic thinking and creative vision to showcase their services and ensure user-friendliness. The UX design prioritises intuitive navigation and accessibility, while the UI design maintains an appealing visual identity. This project reflects my design expertise and enhances Hobbs Rehabilitation’s online presence.

I designed the website for The MiNT Academy, a subsidiary company of Hobbs Rehabilitation, fulfilling the request to use a learning platform website builder. I developed online interactive textbooks for The MiNT Academy, ensuring both UX and UI were integrated.

I led a range of print projects that significantly conveyed Hobbs Rehabilitation services, events, and educational offerings. From eye-catching posters to vibrant flyers and informative leaflets that engaged audiences, my focus was on merging aesthetics with purpose. These materials not only conveyed essential information but also resonated with Hobbs Rehabilitation’s core values.

I designed brochures that showcased Hobbs’ expertise and conveyed its profound client impact. I also translated Hobbs Rehabilitation’s presence into conferences and exhibitions, creating pop-up banners and stands that enhanced brand visibility and engagement.

marketing

In addition to setting up email campaigns and newsletter sign-ups using Mailchimp and implementing HubSpot (CRM) with both websites, I’ve also been actively engaged in crafting various graphics tailored for social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube. Whenever possible, I streamline the design process by crafting templates, optimising time usage effectively.

While graphics play a pivotal role in expressing brand identity on social media, it’s crucial to strike a balance to avoid overwhelming the audience. To achieve this, I strategically limit the frequency of graphic content and complement it with my own photography to achieve maximum audience engagement. Leveraging analytics to my advantage, I can effectively assess audience responses. This enables me to identify successful content as well as areas that require improvement and a potential boost.
